The weather was too rough for the inshore and offshore boats to sail yesterday.
Sunday was not a great day, but Saturday fishing gave us some pier news and bridge news. Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Roanoke Island causeway caught a few Shad. OBX Pier anglers had a few Blow Toads. Jennette’s Pier reported the first Puppy Drum. They have been catching Dogfish and Skates pretty steady.
As for surf fishing news, it’s looking up for us on the north beaches. There were Puppy Drum caught on the north and south side of Oregon Inlet. It was slow on the south beaches yesterday due to the strong winds and rough water.
We have E wind  at 18 and the water temp us 49.
Mike Schiffbauer caught a 44 in Musky in the Youghiogheny River in W. PA. The Schiffbauer’s are a summer resident in Nags Head.
