We have surf fishing news from down south which makes us hopeful on this side of the bridge. The south beaches reported Blow Toads, Sea Mullet, Drum and Bluefish.
An inshore boat had a good Drum day. They released 10 after keeping their limits.
Jennette’s Pier reported Puppy Drum and 1 Striper this morning. Avalon said they had a few Sea Mullet yesterday afternoon. The wind is still north at 22 mph. People are not hanging too long on the piers. The water temp is staying right around 48 degrees.
Yesterday was a great day for the surfers and they were out big time. Clean big swells. Best I have seen awhile. I watched from the Avalon parking lot and I am always amazed. Such a great sport.
