Despite the rain, there are people fishing. The piers are slow in the mornings when I am writing the fishing report. Later in the day, people are fishing between showers. OBX pier had a good run of nice Sea Mullet and Toads yesterday.
There were Blow Toads on the South Nags Head beaches.
The south beaches on the other side of the bridge reported Black Drum, Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet and Blow toads. Cyndi Goetcheus beached a nice Black Drum at ramp 49. (Picture).
The bluewater charters decked a few Yellowfin, Dolphin, Mako and a couple of Bluefin keepers.
The wind is NE at 18 and the water temp is 52 degrees.
