The offshore charters returned to the docks with Yellowfin, numerous Dolphin, some gaffer Dolphin, Mako shark and Tilefish.
Bluefish, Drum, Flounder were brought in from the inshore boats. Plenty of Trout were caught. Illegal to Possess. Too bad.
The south beaches had a good day on Saturday. Anglers walking to the point caught big Drum. The other beaches caught Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Flounder, Spot and Specks. Korey Mason and Kandyce Harrison caught their fish in Salvo.
There is a good slough in KDH producing Trout and Drum this morning as I speak. (8:45am)
Little Bridge on the causeway has plenty of Trout.
Avalon Pier is slow this morning and so is the OBX Pier. It’s early. Nags Head Reported Trout, Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Jennette’s Pier has Sea Mullet and Puppies.
It is a beautiful OBX day. The wind is NW at 7 and the water temp is 52 degrees.
