Surf Fishing Report:
Weekend surf fishing was excellent on our beaches. Like never having seen before. People catching all the Drum they wanted, using their trout rods sight casting. Sea Mullet, Blues and Spot were also caught.
TW’s Seth Rary caught his Drum using lures. Chris Duty beached a 21 in Drum in Nags Head off of 8th street. Benjamin Rollason caught more than a dozen Drum from the pier using Gulp.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot and Trout. You can’t keep them, but they are going to bite anyway.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.
Nags Head: Blues and Spiny Blow toads.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blues, Spot, Croaker and Spiny Blow Toads

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught loads of Taylor Blues.
I might add this note. Cobia arrived in Hatteras this weekend. It will not be long now before I will have Cobia to report.

Offshore Boats Report:
Charters had a good catch of Dolphin and scattered Yellowfin. Oregon Inlet released a White Marlin, and Pirates Cove had 2 citation White Marlin. Pirates Cove also had a 36 lb citation Dolphin.
