Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish and bottom fish. Bob Krask caught a nice 32 in Bluefish from the surf in Duck. The water is clear this morning. Bluefish likes clear water because they feed by site. When the water is clear they can be caught on jiggers. Bluefish can be caught on cut bait and bottom rigs when the water is cloudy. The water temp is 68 degrees. The wind is N at 19 kts.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot and Black Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
The water is clear and a pretty blue. The wind is blowing so; the pier jockeys are having trouble casting. Wind is supposed to stick around. The water temp hit 70 degrees at the OBX pier this morning. That’s good news.
Avalon: Blues.
Nags Head: Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Spot.
Outer Banks: Skates.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boaters are reeling in bottom fish and throwback Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
Pirates Cove reported a bottom fishing trip returned to the docks with Black Sea Bass, Grouper and limited out with Tilefish. Charters caught plenty of Gaffer Dolphin, Yellowfin action is improving, and several Big-eyes were caught. Two Blue Marlin and a White Marlin were released.
