Surf Fishing Report:
Fishermen are catching Drum, mullet and Blues. Lots of Drum in KDH in the pier area as I speak. (8:20 am)
Alex Demo beached a 24 in, 4 lb Drum in KDH in the Coast Guard Station vicinity. He was fishing with a fish finder rig and mullet. I love it when anglers give me some details.
Linda Harper and son Britt fished the Bayless Boatworks/Dave Huth fishing Tournament on Memorial Day. They tied for first place largest Drum. Dave Huth was a friend and fishing buddy for so many anglers on the Outer Bank. What a great way to remember.
The wind is SW so the water has cooled to 62 degrees. Winds are strong at 19 kts.
