Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet and Drum from the surf. The wind has switched to NE. Water temp went from yesterdays 56 to 67 degrees in a very short time. The water is choppy and semi clear. I would fine a slough and fish the wash this morning. Conditions I like. But what do I know.
We have plenty of pictures this morning. Lots of Cobia caught this past week and a 13 lb Sheepshead.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers, small Trout, small Flounder and Spot. A 19 in Flounder was decked yesterday.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Spot.
Nags Head: Mullet and a few Blues.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boats had Good Cobia fishing on Wednesday. There was an 82 lb citation and a 58 lb citation. Plenty of Blues.
Offshore Boats Report:
Many charters were out yesterday. It was a good day. A big amount of Gaffer Dolphin, a good catch of Yellowfin and citation Cobia. There were Blue Marlin and a Sailfish release.
