Surf Fishing Report:
Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet. Drum fishing is good up and down the beaches. Find a slough and fish. Puppy Drum are bottom feeders and are taking most anything you want to throw at them. Don’t over think it. They can be in the wash right at your feet. Jacob Heisey caught his Drum in Corolla using finger mullet. Shane DeVincent used a bottom rig with shrimp fishing Buck Island in Corolla. Holden Northcott is showing 89 lb Cobia. Melvin Jennings caught a nice 13.1 lb Black Drum fishing the Avalon Pier.
News for the cape point fishermen. You can’t take the long walk. Park service has closed it. Ramp 43 reopens to ORV and pedestrian access
The wind is NE at 11 and the water temp is 70 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported fishing is good. Bridge anglers are decking Spot, Flounder, Croakers, Bluefish and Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Lots of Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Bluefish & Spot.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum, Blues, Spot and Gray Trout.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Blues and Spanish. Inlet boaters, Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater charters caught Yellowfin Tuna and citation Dolphin. Wreck fishing caught Tilefish and Sea Bass.
