Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was good Tuesday. Winds light out of the SW with a water temp of 70 degrees. Good puppy drum fishing from Hatteras to Northern Beaches. Also good catches of spot and sea mullet. Frisco reported some keeper flounder and a 3 ½ pound pompano.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported fairly slow fishing yesterday but had a few dedicated anglers with catches of spots, croaker and small speckled trout. Somethin’s better than nothin’!

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small gray trout, puppy drum and sea mullet with a water temp of 64 degrees.
Nags Head: good catches of puppy drum and spot during the day and blues in the evening. Water temp 68 degrees.
Jennette’s: Sea mullet, spot, small speckled trout and good runs of slot size puppy drum. Water temp 67 degrees.
Outer Banks: Nice catches of puppy drum, spot, sea mullet and blues. Water temp 70 degrees.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats had nice catches of cobia and blues and the nearshore boats rocked the Spanish and boated a few mahi.

Offshore Boats Report:
Citation Bigeye tuna catches with one boat hooking “5 at a time”. Also good gaffer dolphin, yellowfin tuna, occasional wahoo and white and blue marlin releases.
