Surf Fishing Report:
Beautiful morning on the Outer Banks! Fishing with your toes in the sand was pretty good yesterday. Tasty sea mullet, spot and puppy drum were caught up and down the beaches. Big Daddy Drum were landed off the Cape last night for those that wanted to put in a half marathon to get there. Water temp has dropped quite a bit since yesterday so fishing has slowed some this am. Winds out of the SW at 15.

Sound Fishing Report:
Head boats and sound fishing trips reported sea mullet, spot, croaker, puppy drum and small flounder. The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported fairly slow fishing again today with spot, croaker and a 10 pound blue landed yesterday.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Few spot, croaker, pigfish and blues with a water temp of 63 degrees.
Nags Head: Sea mullet catches but pretty slow with a water temp of 63.
Jennette’s: Skate! You know it’s slow! Haha. Also a few sea mullet this am. Water temp a chilling 57. That’s a 10 degree drop since yesterday.
Outer Banks: Good run of sea mullet early and now SKATE with a few sea mullet. Water temp is 62.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Great day yesterday for the inshore boats with continued good catches of puppy drum, spanish and blues. The nearshore boats had another good day with the spanish and cobia. Ocean was slick calm and beautiful!

Offshore Boats Report:
Gaffer dolphin, bigeye tuna and yellowfin filled fish boxes yesterday. Some blackfin tuna caught down south and 1 blue marlin caught and released. Wreck fishing trip produced limits of tilefish and black sea bass! Yummy!

Enjoy the beach and take a bloodworm fishing!
