Surf Fishing Report:
Another amazing morning on the Outer Banks. Light winds out of the north at 5 mph.
Slow fishing yesterday due to cold water, storms and high winds. TODAY is a different day. Calm conditions with warmer water temps has brought the puppy drum and sea mullet back in force. Also expect a spot or bluefish to chomp your hook. Nice puppy drum caught by Gavin Buchanan.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good fishing this am with spot, croaker, speckled trout (still have to be released until June 15th) and a nice striper.
Head boats and sound fishing trips were slow yesterday but will most likely have great fishing today.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: LOT of puppy drum yesterday evening and this am. Water temp is 63.
Nags Head: Spanish and puppy drum are back! Water temp is 66.
Jennette’s: Puppy drum, blues and sea mullet. Water temp is 67.
Outer Banks: Few nice sea mullet this am but expect the puppy drum, blues and spanish will show up. Water temp is 70.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Slow day yesterday once again due to water temp and weather. Today the boats are back out on the calm seas and expect to hear of awesome catches of cobia, Spanish and blues.

Offshore Boats Report:
The BIG boats stayed home yesterday. They were re-charging for today’s crazy amount of fish they’re gonna catch!

Get out of the house, get outside, head to the beach or jump on a boat and GO FISHING!
