Surf Fishing Report:
Sunny and warm is the forecast for today. A tiny puff of wind from the N at 2mph. Nice catches of puppy drum, spot and croaker north of Oregon Inlet and south beaches reported small flounder, spot, nice blues (one measuring 29in), sea mullet, croaker and pompano.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few small flounder and some puppy drum.
Head boats and sound fishing trips put smiles on their anglers faces with good catches of sea mullet, spot, croaker and gray trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish on Gotcha’s and spoons! Water temp is 71.
Nags Head: Blues and spanish! Water temp is 71.
Jennette’s: Spanish, blues and spot with a 28 lb cobia caught this morning. Water temp is 71.
Outer Banks: Blues, spanish, sheepshead, triggers and spade. Nice catches of puppy drum from the surf. Water temp is 74.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report: Crystal clear water is just what the Spanish and blues love and they are hungry! A few catches of cobia yesterday (a bit slower due to wind shift). Reports of tower tuna (amberjack) and big blues nearshore.

Offshore Boats Report: Yellowfin tuna is still going strong, a bit slower than yesterday but still good numbers. Fish boxes full of dolphin and gaffers. Oregon Inlet weighed a 56 pound WaHOOOO.
Hatteras reported some blackfin tuna, gaffers, a sail and a blue.
