Surf Fishing Report: Another pretty little day here on the OBX with winds out of the SW at 10. The puppy drum are still hanging out for anglers from Hatteras to Corolla. The north beach surf anglers also pulling in sea mullet, blues and spot. Oregon Inlet beach reports blues, flounder and sea mullet. South beaches catching sea mullet, spot and black drum. Grab your fishing pole, some worms and mullet and make it a day to remember!

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some sea mullet, small flounder and a few puppy drum.
Head boats had another great day drifting the sound. Nice catches of spot, croaker, sea mullet and a few speckled trout. Remember, trout still have to be released until the 14th of this month. Hopefully after that anglers can keep a few.
Sound charters reported some good catches of puppy drum and speckled trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Great Spanish and blues this am with nice size spot biting two at a time! Water temp is 70.
Nags Head: Blues and spanish! Water temp is 70.
Jennette’s: Blues biting good this am. Water temp is 70.
Outer Banks: Sea mullet, spots, blues and Spanish. Keep a Gotcha in your tackle box. Water temp is 70.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report: Cobia fishing has slowed a bit in the last few days, but still great catches of Spanish, blues and puppy drum. The nearshore boats are having fun with amberjack, dolphin and scattered big blues. Wreck trips produced limits of sea bass with some cod and amberjack. Good sheepshead fishing around Oregon Inlet bridge. Beach launched kayak fisherman in Avon landed a 64 lb cobia! WooHoo!

Offshore Boats Report: Wow another awesome day offshore. Fish boxes overflowing with limits of yellowfin tuna, gaffer dolphin and tilefish. Two bigeye tunas boated weighing 141 and 189 pounds, a 74 lb wahoo, and a 151 lb mako. Oregon Inlet released 4 whites.
