Surf Fishing Report:
Happy Father’s Day!!!!Hope all you daddies get to go fishing today. What a beautiful sunny Sunday! Winds from the NE at 5 increasing to 10 later in the day. Surf fishing has remained fairly consistent. North beaches to Corolla reported puppy drum, sea mullet, spot and a blues. Oregon Inlet reported nice catches of blues, puppy drum, sea mullet and small flounder. South beaches to Hatteras hooked into some Spanish, blues, croaker, spot, black drum and nice pompano (one weighing in at 3lbs 1oz.)

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported NO trout this morning. HaHa it’s not a wonder since today opens the trout season. They all swam away and hid.
Couple of anglers did bring in some spot and croakers. Sound charters and head boats had some action with puppy drum, speckled trout, small flounder and croaker.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nice spot, blues and a small cobia. Water temp is 72.
Nags Head: Few blues, spot and sea mullet. Water temp is 70.
Jennette’s: Spot, blues and sand perch. Water temp is 71.
Outer Banks: Nice flounder and sea mullet. Water temp is 74.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Good catches of cobia with some citations weighed. Spanish and bluefish is still non-stop action especially with this clear warm water. Puppy drum and blues on Nearshore boats. . Oregon Inlet bridge produced some sand flea chomping citation sheepshead.

Offshore Boats Report:
Great day offshore. Charters are giving their anglers some crankin action with limits of yellowfin tuna! Also some nice gaffers and occasional wahoo. A couple of boats got to add a billfish release or a cobia or 2 on the way in. Hatteras boats had great catches of dolphin, some blackfin and yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and a couple of king mackerel. Wreck/bottom trips had nice catches of sea bass and triggers.
