Surf Fishing Report:
It’s gonna be a cooker today! Temps in the 90’s with a WSW wind 15-20. Great day for the beach…..Hot sand and cold water. Northern beaches to Corolla are catching spot, puppy drum, sea mullet and skate. South of the Inlet anglers are crackin in some sea mullet, croaker, flounder and pompano. Soundside (Reported from Frisco Rod and Gun) a NICE 6 lb 11oz speckled trout. Oregon Inlet fisherman still having some action with blues, puppy drum, sea mullet and a few flounder. Sheepshead are still hanging at the bridge.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few speckled trout.
Sound charters and head boats are catching spot, croaker and some keeper specks.
Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Sea mullet, skate, sand perch and pinfish. Water temp is 66.
Nags Head: Spot, Spanish and blues. Water temp is 66.
Jennette’s: Sea mullet, croaker, pigfish and blues. Water temp is 62.
Outer Banks: Flounder, spade, croaker and skate. Water temp is 63.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats are catching Spanish and bluefish. Few catches of cobia.
Inshore boats doing well with speckled trout and and drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
Great action with big yellowfin tuna and an occasional bigeye. Dolphin fishing continues to be good with some tilefish and sailfish releases. Hatteras Inlet charter boats had great catches of yellowfin and blackfin tuna, a few nice gaffer dolphin and blue and white marlin releases.
