Surf Fishing Report:
Birds are chirping and the fish are biting this pretty Tuesday morning. Winds are out of the east at 10. Water temp is heavenly in the upper 70’s. Northern beaches to Corolla are reporting some Spanish and blues on small spoons, sea mullet, spot and a few black drum. South of the Inlet to Hatteras there were reports of pompano, Spanish, small blues and flounder, some sea mullet, spot, and black drum. Oregon Inlet fisherman are still bringing in some nice sheepshead around bridge with blues, Spanish, small flounder, sea mullet and spot from the beach.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway is catching some small speckled trout, spot and croaker.
Sound charters and head boats are catching a SOUND variety with croaker, spot, sea mullet, trout and pinfish being part of the mix.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and blues. Water temp is 77.
Nags Head: Spot, Spanish, Blues and some nice puppy drum. One was caught with a tag! Water temp is 77.
Jennette’s: Spanish, blues, spot and a keeper speckled trout. Water temp is 76.
Outer Banks: Spanish, blues, spade, sea mullet and some croaker. Water temp is 77.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Did I mention yet that the Spanish and blues fishing had been awesome, well it has been! Cobia fishing has slowed quite a bit. The inshore fleet is picking up some puppy drum, speckled trout and small flounder.

Offshore Boats Report:
Looks like the yellowfin tuna, dolphin and gaffers keep jumping in the boats while the billfish are dancing all around them! Blues, whites and sailfish releases yesterday. Hatteras Inlet fleet catching nice yellowfin (one was 71 lbs), dolphin and a 40 lb waHOO with lots of white marlin releases. Wreck trip brought in some big triggers.
