The wind is ENE at 15 and the water temp is 77 degrees.
Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, Bluefish, Spot and Croaker on our beaches. The south beaches south of the bridge are catching Spanish, Bluefish, Pompano and Sea Mullet.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croaker, Trout, Spot and Sea Mullet. Lots of anglers on the little bridge this morning.
Headboats anglers are having fun catching Flounder, Croaker and Sea Mullet.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Flounder.
Nags Head: Flounder and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Triggers, Bluefish, Spadefish and shark.
Outer Banks: Spot, Mullet, Croaker. Beautiful water and the water temp is 76 degrees.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Morning storms gave fishing a boast on Friday. The nearshore boat trips caught Amberjacks, Cobia, Triggers and loads of Bluefish and Spanish. The Inlet anglers decked Specks. The inshore boats Sharks, keeper Flounder, Gray Trout and Puppy Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing is Outstanding offshore. Limits of Yellowfin, plenty of Dolphin and a 103 lb Wahoo. A good number of White and Blue Marlin were released.
