Surf Fishing Report:
Pretty morning here on the Outer Banks. Winds out of the SSW at 15 plus. I believe it’s going to be a little humid, to say the least. Water is chilly with temps yesterday in the low 60s. One little dip and you’ll be cool for hours. Fishing from the Inlet north included catches of spot, croaker and sea mullet. Water is a little cloudy due to the strong west winds. Surf anglers south of the Inlet to Hatteras also caught some blues, pompano and flounder.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway is bring in just a few trout and croaker. Sound charters and head boats are pulling in a few speckled trout, puppy drum and occasional flounder. Head boats with croaker, spot, sea mullet and pigfish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Blues. Water temp is 62. Brrrr.
Nags Head: Few spot and croaker. Water temp is 63.
Jennette’s: Croaker, Spot, sea mullet and skates. Water temp is 63.
Outer Banks: Few nice size spot and some croaker. Water temp is 68 .

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats are still enjoying the blues and Spanish, thank goodness for them!
The inshore gang is hooking up some speckled trout, few puppy drum and some bottom fish.

Offshore Boats Report:
Ocean was pretty rough yesterday but the charters and private boats that ventured out to the Deep Blue Sea caught some dolphin, yellowfin tuna and a nice wahoo. (One weighing 85 lbs out of Pirates Cove). Now that’s gonna be some good eating!
