Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet, Croakers and Spot. South of the inlet, the same with some Bluefish and Drum added. There was a 50 lb Cobia beached in Hatteras.
The wind is N at 6 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Pretty day on this sand bar. Waters perfect for good Blues fishing.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good fishing this morning. Bridge anglers are catching nice Trout in the 20 in range, Drum, Croakers, Spot and Flounder.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Double header Spot.
Nags Head: Croakers and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Spot, Croaker and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Spot. Really pretty Sea Mullet, Bluefish water this morning. Just waiting for them to start biting.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats decked lots of Puppy Drum. There were Trout, Croaker and throwback Stripers caught from the inlet boats. Nearshore had plenty of Bluefish and Ribbon fish. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Sea Mullet, Gray Trout, Flounder and Croaker.
Offshore Boats Report:
Limits of Dolphin and plenty of Yellowfin. There were Wahoo caught and Blue and White Marlin releases.
