Surf Fishing Report:
The south beaches caught a variety yesterday. Buxton and the Frisco beaches reported Spot, Bluefish, Pompano, Sea Mullet, Drum and Flounder. Hatteras caught some Puppy Drum. The northern beaches, a few Sea Mullet, Croaker and Spot.
The wind is NE at 15 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Water is grassy in South Nags Head.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow this morning. A few Croakers and Spot.
Sound boaters had a good day yesterday catching lots of Trout, Drum and Striper releases
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Croakers.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet. Temp is 73 degrees.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spot and Sea Mullet. Water temp 71 degrees.
Outer Banks: Spot and Croaker.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inlet anglers caught a good number of Trout, some Flounder, Sea Mullet and released Stripers. The nearshore boats decked Albacore, Amberjack, Spanish, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Sea Bass. Miss Oregon Inlet head boat caught plenty of Flounder, Croaker, Trout, Pigfish and Bluefish. They certainly have bragging rights.
Offshore Boats Report:
Our offshore boat brought back to the docks Yellowfin, Tilefish, Wahoo, Sea Bass and released White Marlin.
