Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was slow yesterday. Bottom fish on all the beaches. The wind is N at 18 this morning, NE later in the day. The water is choppy. Water temp is 75 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Flounder, Spot and Croaker. Boaters are catching good numbers of Trout in the sound.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spot, Croaker and Spanish.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: A good run of Spot and Bluefish. Water temp is 72.
Outer Banks: Spot. Water temp is 75 degrees.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore trollers caught Spanish and Bluefish. Wreck fishing had plenty of Sea Bass and Tilefish. Inshore also caught Spanish and Cobia.

Offshore Boats Report:
The storms did not deter the bluewater fleet from catching plenty of meatfish. There were catches of Yellowfin, Dolphin and Wahoo. Also Billfish releases.
