Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishermen north of the Inlet reported scattered Spot, Sea Mullet, Flounder and small Bluefish. A 50 in Drum was released on the Avon beach yesterday. Not something you usually hear of this time of the year.
Twelve year old Kenny Crawford caught his second big fish this week. Yesterday he added 26.5 #, 47 in King Mackerel to the 27 in Cobia he caught earlier. (Picture).
The pier jockeys are telling me they are spotting some big fish circling the end of the piers.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow again. A few small Trout and Croakers. The sound boaters report a good Drum and Trout day.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Nags Head: Spot, Blues and keeper Cobia
Jennette’s: 34 in Cobia, Triggers, Spanish and Spot.
Outer Banks: Spot, Sea Mullet and Pinfish.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inlet boat caught Cobia, Amberjack, Trout, released some Rockfish and Red Drum. The Nearshore caught Bluefish and Flounder

Offshore Boats Report:
Billfish highlighted the action on Wednesday. Oregon Inlet released 23 White and 2 Blue Marlin. Pirates Cove released 15 White Marlin. There were plenty of Dolphin, scattered Yellowfin and Wahoo. Wreck fishing boats caught Tilefish and Sea Bass
