Surf Fishing Report:
Summertime fishing is overall slow along northern beaches. Scattered Blues, Spot and Sea Mullet.
The wind is ENE at 13 and the water temp is 75 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow. A few Trout, Croakers and Spot.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Spot.
Nags Head: Bunch of nice Spot.
Jennette’s: Reported a 38 # and 22 # King Mackerel caught before 7 AM. Bluefish, Spot and Croaker.
Outer Banks: Decent Spot, Sea Mullet and Blues. Water temp is 77 degrees.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boats hooked Spanish, Bluefish, Flounder and Sea Mullet. Inshore boats decked Trout, Amberjack and Cobia.
Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet released 23 White Marlin and 7 Blue Marlin on Thursday. The charters found the found the Yellowfins, caught plenty of Dolphin and had good catches of Tilefish.
