Surf Fishing Report:
The ocean was rough yesterday. Surfers were out. Fishermen were not. It has calmed considerably this morning. The water is still murky and grass. The wind is WSW at 9 and the water temp is 76 degrees. And we have sunshine!

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported throw back Trout, no keeper Drum and bottom fish this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Spot.
Nags Head: Blues, Spanish, Spot and a keeper Flounder.
Jennette’s: Blues, Spot and Spanish.
Outer Banks: Spot, Croakers and Blues.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Boats reported Spanish, Blues, Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum, Amberjack, Sea Bass, and a good catch of Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
Blue water fleet went out though there was a storm still hanging around on the coast. There were White Marlin releases, including one citation plus a citation Sailfish. There were catches of Yellowfin, Dolphin, limits of Tilefish and a 285 lb+ Big-eye.
