Surf Fishing Report:
Yesterday, the wind was blowing 25 and the water was rough. The piers were the only place there was any action. There were Cobia caught from a couple piers. Jessica Dulin caught a nice one at Nags Head Pier. (Picture). Today is a different day. The wind is SW at 9. The water is calm with glassy swells and the temp is dropping. The water temp is 70 degrees this morning.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Trout and Croakers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Spot.
Nags Head: Bluefish and Spot.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Spot and Croaker. The water temp is 68 degrees.
Outer Banks: Spot and Croakers, Sea Mullet and Pinfish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore fleet caught Drum, Specks, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
The wind was a problem for the fleet yesterday. But those that fished caught some Yellowfin and Dolphin. There were some White Marlin releases and a Sailfish.
