Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing on the northern beaches continues to be slow. The water is clear this morning and the temp is 77 degrees. The wind is NE again today and blowing 15 to 20 kts. It’s pretty windy on the beach but the surf fishermen are out there. I can see them from the pier cams. There should be Bluefish caught.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish and Spot.
Nags Head: Bar Jack, Pompano, Spot and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Spot.
Outer Banks: False Albacore, Spot, Pompano, Spanish, Sea Mullet and Blues. The water is clear as gin and the temp is 77 degrees.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats had plenty Bluefish action. There were Spanish caught, some Amberjack, False Albacore, Ribbon fish and Flounder. The inshore fleet also had a good day catching their share of Bluefish, lots of Trout, Flounder, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, a 30+ lb Cobia and some Drum. Fishing is good after a blow.

Offshore Boats Report:
The off shore fleet made it across the bar yesterday and had a great day. They filled their boxes with lots of Dolphin, nice Yellowfin and a Blackfin. It was a great day for Billfish action. They released 20 White Marlin.
