Surf Fishing Report:
The Drum showed on the beaches after the blow. TW’s John Newbold & Sam Stokes caught some whoppers in the Oregon Inlet area. James Rasmussen was in Corova when he caught his 24 in keeper. It’s that time of the year. There were Drum caught in the Kitty Hawk area also.
The wind is East at 12 kts and the water temp is 79 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croaker and a few throwback Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Blues.
Nags Head: Slow, Pompano and Bar Jacks.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spot and Pompano.
Outer Banks: Mullet, Spot and Blues.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats decked Trout, Sheepshead, and a 42 lb Cobia. Nearshore trolling boats had plenty of Blues and Spanish
Offshore Boats Report:
White Marlin was the talk yesterday, Oregon Inlet released 38 white, 1 blue and 1 Sailfish. Lots of Dolphin, few Wahoo and Tilefish were caught.
