Surf Fishing Report:
We have a calm SE wind and the water temp is 77 degrees. It’s a good beach day. Surf fishermen are catching Sea Mullet, Blues, Spot and Pompano.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Croakers and Pinfish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Blues and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Blues, Pompano, Spot and Trout.
Outer Banks: Blues, Pompano and Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore caught Spanish, Blues and Albacore. Inshore boats caught Drum and Trout.
Keith Griglak and boys Cody and Dylan fished the skinny water at Oregon Inlet. They caught Gray Trout, Sea Bass, Croaker, Flounder, smaller pups, keeper 26 in Drum and unlimited lizard fish. Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet fleet had a big time day on Saturday. They caught their limits of Dolphin, plenty of Yellowfin and Blackfin. Including a citation 22 and 23 lb Blackfin, 78 lb citation Yellowfin and a 36 lb citation Dolphin. There were 11 Whites, 3 Blues and 2 Sailfish caught and released.
