Surf Fishing Report:
Happy Labor Day to everyone. The weather has been beautiful. A few Sea Mullet and Spot were beached. Overall slow fishing. Andy Young caught a nice 26 in slot Drum in Pine Island north of Duck. (Picture).

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Croakers.
Allen Withers said all the sounds are full of slot drum. Just get in skinny water and there they are. (Picture).

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Not a scale, yet.
Nags Head: Slow. A few Spot and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: Pompano and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats caught Albacore and plenty of Spanish and Bluefish. The inshore boats caught good size Drum and Cobia.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet filled their boxes with limits of Dolphin, limits of Tilefish and good size Yellowfin. There were White, Blue and Sailfish releases. Pirates Cove released a 400 lb Blue Marlin. They also had a grand slam.
