Surf Fishing Report:
A small number of Sea Mullet and Pompano are scattered. Overall slow. The wind is SW at 5 and the water temp is 75 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a small number of Trout and Croakers. A 2 lb Trout was caught yesterday and a few more keepers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Croakers.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: A good run of Bluefish early, catching a few.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore anglers decked False albacore, Amberjack, Trout, Flounder, Sea Mullet and lots of Bluefish. The trolling boats fishing nearshore had scattered Spanish and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
Gulf Stream charters caught Blackfin, Yellowfin, a few Dolphin Wahoo and good catches of Tilefish. The anglers out bill fishing caught and released White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish.
