Surf Fishing Report:
People were fishing Sunday despite the rain. Terry Adams caught an in slot Flounder in Nags Head. There were a few Sea mullet and Spot caught from the surf. Chris Gosnell caught keeper Flounder and Trout, a few small Drum and Croaker back in Colington Harbor. There are surf fishermen out this this morning. I can see them from the cams.
More rain today. The wind is NE at 15 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Air temp will be more bearable than last week.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Mullet and Blues.
Nags Head: Bluefish and lost a Cobia.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Spot, Pompano, Croaker and Pigs.
Outer Banks: Spot and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The boats stayed at the docks on Sunday. Scattered storms all day.

Offshore Boats Report:
Sunday was a good Tuna day. A large amount of Yellowfin, Blackfin and 2 citation size Big-eyes weighing in at 162 and 164 lbs. The fleet also caught Dolphin and Wahoo. Twenty Billfish were caught and released.
