Surf Fishing Report:
I said it was going to be a Drum day yesterday and it was. Keeper Drum were caught south of ramp 4. Not many people surf fishing. There are scattered Sea Mullet and Spot on our northern beaches.
The wind is SW at 8 this morning and the water temp is 77 degrees. Nice swells. Surfers are out beside the Avalon Pier.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Blues and 2 Red Drum this morning. One weighed in at 42 in. Also had a nice Red Drum last night.
Nags Head: Spot, Blues, Croaker and Flounder. Caught a nice 40 in Red Drum last night.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sand Perch and Pig fish.
Outer Banks: Pompano and nice big Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore catches were good. Lots of Bluefish, Trout and Spanish. The inshore fleet caught Cobia, Trout and limits of Drum. Oregon Inlets Head Boat caught Bluefish, Pigs, Croakers and lots of Sea Mullet.

Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet had 21 boats off shore yesterday. The ride was bumpy and the fishing was only fair. A few Dolphin, scattered Yellowfin, Wahoo and 6 White Marlin releases were reported.
