Surf Fishing Report:
The wind is NE at 22 this morning. An overcast morning. Sun will shine later today. We have rough water. Its sweatshirt weather on the beach and piers this morning. A TW’s sweatshirt would look really nice. The Spot are biting this morning and there should be Drum caught. TW’s Seth Rary caught a 30 in Red Drum. They are out there. The Spot are getting bigger. Everyone is asking about the yellow bellies. The big Spot has not shown for 3 years. There is still time. I always heard if they are not here by Columbus Day, they will not show. Columbus Day is Oct 13th.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported really slow. A few Croakers this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nice Spot.
Nags Head: Spot and Croakers.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spot, Sea Mullet and Croakers.
Outer Banks: Croakers, Sand Perch and a 25 in Drum.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Plenty of Bluefish and Spanish were caught nearshore. Inshore caught keeper Trout and Blues.

Offshore Boats Report:
Yesterday was Wounded Warriors day. The fleet returned with limits of Dolphin, lots of Yellowfin, Tilefish and the flags were flying. They released 11 White Marlin, 4 Blue Marlin and Sailfish.
