Surf Fishing Report:
We have better fishing conditions today. The wind is NE at 10 and the water temp is 75 degrees.
The beach south of ramp four is going to open today. No more walking a mile to get to the fish. I am sure there are going to be Drum caught.
OBX Pier is the hot spot this morning. I watched an angler bring in a 48 in Drum on their pier cam. They have caught several Drum in the 28 and 29 in range. They also reported a 43 in and 47 in last night.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported really slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 2 lb Bluefish and Spanish.
Nags Head: Spot, Sea mullet and Croaker
Jennette’s: Spanish, Bluefish and Croaker.
Outer Banks: Spot, Sea Mullet and Drum.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Pirates Cove inlet boat fished and caught a nice catch of bottom fish.
Offshore Boats Report:
High winds and rough water made the conditions too tough to leave the docks yesterday.
