Surf Fishing Report:
There was a good Drum and Bluefish bite at the Inlet yesterday. Grover Sheldon (with Drum) and John Newbold said there were plenty of good size Blues for the smoker. Jim Moyer caught a Sea Trout. That was the first big Sea Trout news I have received. Also, Jon Taylor caught a Drum. No info on Jon’s Drum. (Pictures). There were scattered Sea Mullet, Blues and Spot.
We have NE wind at 15 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Waters rough.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a good day on Tuesday. There were keeper Trout and Flounder. 3 to 4 Stripers caught.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nothing this morning.
Nags Head: Little Croakers and few small Blues.
Jennette’s: Spot and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Pompano and small Blues off the end.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Puppy Drum and good size Blues were caught inshore. Nearshore had Amberjack, Spanish and Blues.

Offshore Boats Report:
There were Bailers and Gaffer Dolphin, Wahoo and Yellowfin brought in to the docks yesterday. There were Billfish releases. Oregon Inlets charter The Legacy had a grand slam.
