Surf Fishing Report:
Conditions are good for catching Drum. Waters rough and murky. Find a good slough and drop your bait in it. You don’t have to be a long distance caster to catch a Drum. There are scattered Sea Mullet and Bluefish. TW’s John and Seth are fishing ramp 4 and Scott Ney is fishing Corolla. (Pictures). There were Drum also caught in Nags Head and Coquina Beach. The wind is NE and the water temp is 73 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a variety of small stuff.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sand Perch.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Good run of Bluefish early and no keeper Flounder.
Outer Banks: Good run of Spot and Sea Mullet, lost a Drum.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers had another big Bluefish day. They also caught Spanish and Trout. The inshore boat fishing is really good. They are catching large amount of Blues, Trout, Drum, Gray Trout, nice Spanish and Flounder.

Offshore Boats Report:
Action was on the slow side for the fleet yesterday. We had rough seas, but a few boats went out. There were some Yellowfin, Dolphin and Tilefish. There were Billfish releases.
