Surf Fishing Report:
Pretty day on the Outer Banks! We have NE wind at 20 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Winds are high again today, more than yesterday, having said that, there will be fish caught. The Trawitz family fishing in Corolla has caught fish all week. Oregon Inlet anglers also beached Drum yesterday.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported keeper Trout and Croaker.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Caught 12 Puppies and 1 Red Drum.
Nags Head: Spot.
Jennette’s: Black Drum
Outer Banks: Spot and Black Drum
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore boats had a nice catch of Trout and Drum. The nearshore fleet brought in Spanish, Red Drum, 3 Cobia and plenty of Blues. The Headboat decked Flounder, Croaker, Spot, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Offshore Boats Report:
High winds made the conditions tough. A few boats went out and caught plenty of Dolphin, some Yellowfin and released 2 whites and a Sailfish.
