Surf Fishing Report:
There were Drum up and down our beaches yesterday. A good run of Drum on the south side of Avalon Pier. There have been Drum caught in Nags Head for the last several days. Coquina Beach and south of ramp 4 are good for catches of Drum. Regulation size for Drum is 18 to 27 in from the ocean. One per person a day.
The NE winds are at 16 this morning. Water is rough and the temp is 73 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported an 18 in Trout this morning, Croakers and undersize Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 2 keeper Drum.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Slow.
Outer Banks: Small Drum, 29 ½ Drum and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats caught Specks, Puppy Drum and lots of Bluefish. Nearshore decked Spanish and loads of Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet managed to get out Monday despite the high winds. They brought Yellowfin and Dolphin back to the docks. They released Blue Marlin and Whites. Pirates Cove reported a grand slam.
