Surf Fishing Report:
Two citation Sea Mullet were weighed in on Friday. JoAnne Willis caught a 1 lb 14 oz and Ann Kinbroughs weighed in at 1.95 #. M. Wells caught a whopper Drum from the Duck surf. A fish story from Don Hall. Hooked a Trout, whole rig came off. An hour later, reeled the same fish in with my lost rig still hooked. Don caught 5 keeper Trout and a 20 lb Red. His comment, “Loving life”. (Pictures).
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported lots of Trout this morning with plenty of keepers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Big run of nice Spot.
Nags Head: Nice Spot. Small Trout.
Jennette’s: Spot, Bluefish and Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Blues, Sea Mullet and Trout. Good Puppy run yesterday and one Red Drum last night. Conditions same today.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
One inshore boat fished and caught Drum. One Drum weighed 75 lbs. Miss Oregon was able to sail bringing home catches of Blues and Trout.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed at home again yesterday.
