Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers are catching keeper Trout from the surf near the Nags Head Pier and Avalon Pier this morning. Trout are running about 18 in size. There were a few Drum caught yesterday from the surf. I received a picture of one caught in Corolla. Rowan caught a citation from Jennette’s Pier. It was 48 in length. It was a fat fish. The girth was 25.5 in. Ron said he caught it with his new reel he bought from TW’s. I am sure that was a factor.
The wind is SW at 11 and the water temp is 63 degrees. The water is flat and muddy but clearer than yesterday.

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
