Surf Fishing Report:
Beach anglers caught a limited number of fish yesterday. The Drum fishing should pick up today with the water churning a little more. There are Trout from the beach in Nags Head again today.
Jamie Walke caught her first big Drum last night. She is the daughter of TW’s Nick Walke who answers all our fish questions and helps every one with their fishing equipment. Jamie also helps in the store when needed and you can see from the size of her fish, she’s no slouch either.
The wind is NE today at 14 and the water temp is 61 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and a 30 in Drum.
Nags Head: Sea Mullet and Trout, some keepers.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Bluefish and small Trout.
Outer Banks: Nice Sea Mullet and small Trout.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Rock fishing is good inshore.
Offshore Boats Report:
There were good catches of Blackfin and Yellowfin on Monday. Added to the Tuna catch was Wahoo, King Mackerel and a Blue Marlin release.
