Drum fishing was spectacular Friday and Saturday. I had an e-mail from Grover Sheldon, one of our top anglers. A person I have fished beside many times and caught Drum. Sheldon was fishing with Eric and Rudy from Charlotte, NC caught 35 Drum on Friday and when they called it a day on Saturday they had caught a total of 54 Drum for the 2 days. There were lots of small Drum. The slot Drum ranged from 24 to 27 in. There was a group down from Fredericksburg, VA for a fishing weekend. I understand the lady anglers put the men to shame catching slot Puppy Drum. Cody caught his first. No doubt he is hooked for life. (Pictures). As I said yesterday, it’s going to be a good Drum day. Send Pictures and if you can’t send pictures let me know what’s happening. The wind is NE at 6 and the water temp is 52 degrees.
