Surf Fishing Report:
Plenty of surf fishermen out yesterday, but not catching. It was slow overall. Grass made it rough to fish in some areas. A couple of Drum were caught in Coquina despite the water being full of grass. The water is calm, clear and blue this morning. Plenty of Trout fishing going on this morning beside the piers. Catching a lot of throw backs. The wind is SE at 6 and the water temp is 54 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Trout.
Nags Head: No keeper Trout.
Jennette’s: Black Drum, Bluefish, Mullet and small Trout
Outer Banks: Blues, Mullet and Black Drum.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats had an action pack day with plenty of Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
Better conditions made it so the fleet could sail yesterday. It’s been a long dry spell. The fleet brought in Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo, plenty of Albacore and loads of Tilefish.
