There are not many people fishing this week. I have nothing to report.
There was a 35 lb Striper caught Dec 14th. I was told they were “eeling” in the bridge area. Anyway, they were fishing with live eel, # 7 octopus hook, 40 # three ft leader and 3 0z trolling weight. The regulations for ocean Striper will change on Jan 1st. It will be 1/day, 28 in. Until then it is 2/day, 28 in TL.
Ken Turlington has been wild pig hunting again and brought in 3 in the 30 to 40 lb range.
The wind is SE at 11 and the water temp is 46 degrees.
