We have a sunny day and cold. Expecting ugly to arrive late evening. Yesterdays high winds cause overwash in Kitty Hawk and wet sand on HWY 12 in certain places. Rodanthe Pier, already in bad shape was further damage by this storm.
Wind is SW at 9 and the water temp is 41 degrees.
