In Summary:

The clouds have broken for the most part and it’s a fairly sunny day here on the wonderful Outer Banks! Today we have winds out of the north-northeast around 10 to 20 knots and an air temperature of 44 degrees as of now. The water this morning is fairly turned up(dirty) and the temperature is staying pretty consistent at 43 degrees. Pretty day to go catch a biggun!

Surf Fishing Report:

The surf this morning here around town is pretty rough and hard to fish. We have not had many reports as of now. Once you get around the south side of the point it becomes much calmer because the wind would be at your back down there. We have been told of a few Puppy Drum being caught down there between the point and Ocracoke.
Sound Fishing Report:
There has been a few Stripers caught in the sound here in the past day or so but nothing to write home about. Hopefully we start to see more action soon!
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed
Inshore Boats Report:
No reports because of the winds today.
Offshore Boats Report
No offshore report in the past 24 hours due to wind.

Freshwater fishing has been good!
