In Summary:

The wind on the Outer Banks this morning has been ruthless! We have a cold front headed our way which have turned the winds out of the northeast blowing about 20-30 knots. We have also had rain showers periodically throughout the morning. The temperature as of now is in the mid to low 40’s and from what they are saying it is going to continue to drop. The water temperature has dropped a couple degrees since yesterday and is now hovering at 41 degrees at the end of Duck Research Pier. Come by one of the shops because it’s a good day to talk fishing and buy some tackle!

Surf Fishing Report:

Rough conditions all around! If you wanted to battle the elements, I believe with this north wind you could head south of the point and catch some Puppy Drum. It would be at least a little calmer there because you would be in the lee of the wind.
Sound Fishing Report:
No reports today because it’s very rough in the sound today.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Closed

Nags Head: Closed

Jennette’s: Few Dogfish and Skates

Outer Banks: Closed
Inshore Boats Report:
Rough and cold today! Nobody has braved it out today from what I’ve heard.
Offshore Boats Report:

Nobody sailed today because “She’s a blowin!”
