Only a couple of charters fished Monday. Yellowfin, and a Spear fish were caught. There were Bluefin brought back to the Docks and also releases.
We have a report there are a few Speckle Trout at the Little Bridge on the causeway.
The piers are catching Shad and Puffers. OBX Pier had their first Sea Mullet yesterday. Jennette’s Pier reported a 47 in Red Drum Monday.
The beaches south of the bridge are catching Blow toads, Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Black Drum. Buxton Beach had a big Drum. Plenty of Bluefish at the point. Fishing will get better on the north beaches soon. The water temp is rising.
We have SE winds at 9 and the water temp is 51 degrees.
