Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing anglers continue beaching a few bottom fish and some Bluefish. There were some 15 in Bluefish caught in the Duck area by Johnny Kimble yesterday. Perfect pan size fish. Just soak them with some milk and soy sauce and fry them up for dinner. Life is good.
The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 74 degrees reported from the pier end of S. Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck. The water is clearing and calm.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers, small Trout and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Spot.
Nags Head: Spade Fish and a couple of Spanish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Bar Jacks.
Outer Banks: Bottom Fish.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats had plenty of Ribbonfish and Spanish in their boxes. One inshore boat caught 5 Cobia. Nearshore anglers also had Ribbonfish and a few King Mackerel. Inlet open boats are catching Flounder, Sea Bass, Spot, Puffers and Sea Mullet. A wreck fishing trip out of Pirates Cove had nice catches of Triggers, a few Amberjack and some Sea Bass.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet is still slaying the Dolphin with a few Wahoo and Yellowfin as well. There were Blue and White Marlin and 1 Sailfish released yesterday.
